Deuteronomy 31:16 says:
And the Lord said to Moses “You will soon die. Then these people will not be loyal to me but will worship foreign gods of the land they are entering. They will leave me, breaking the agreement I made with them”
How great is God’s love for us?
He knew that even after he led the Israelites into the promised land that they would betray and leave him, yet he still led them in.
Think of it this way. Your son or daughter asks for your keys to the family car to go to college or some promised destination. You know, I mean, you KNOW that when they drive off that they WILL get into an accident.
Would you give them the keys? Could you?
God did.
God knows that we will have times when we are not as faithful as He would want us to be, and yet He is still there waiting there for us.
How great is God’s love for us?
I am so happy that He does love us this much. We need it!
